Scholarship Timeline

Application Process
The online scholarship application system will be open for a period of at least one month prior to the deadline. An announcement will be distributed to all collegiate and alumnae chapters via e-mail.

Applications must be submitted through the online system and transcripts from colleges and/or universities attended must be postmarked by the deadline. The deadline will be announced when the online application opens.

The confirmation e-mail generated by the online system is the confirmation to all potential applicants that their application has been received; however, students should remind those individuals who have agreed to provide a recommendation letter that the recommendations are due within two weeks of the student's application submission.

Review & Selection Process
All applications are sent to the Scholarship Committee to review and to make recommendations to the Sigma Kappa Foundation Board of Trustees, which has the final authority on all scholarship decisions. Recipients will be notified by mail. Following notice, Award Acceptance Agreements and official enrollment verifications are due by October 31.
